Jenny MacLean at Speed

One of our clients, Jennifer MacLean, is a National Cross-Country and Road Race athlete.

Jenny is a dedicated and accomplished athlete with many achievements including: the Scottish Masters 6k Cross-Country Champion  in 2009 and 2010; East of Scotland 10k Champion in 2009; 3 times Winner of the Corrieyairack Challenge (17 mile hill run and 26 mile road race).

Jenny has seen her performance increase significantly, giving her tangible and measurable results in training and in competition. The work of Rachel’s performance consultancy has continued to deliver improvements on Jenny’s personal bests even after the Focus Your Mind™ Framework was completed.

Some examples of Jenny’s improved results include:

• UK Inter-Counties 8K Cross Country Race – Exceeded PB of 34th to 22nd place

• Bupa Edinburgh 10K  – Won Interdistricts match and reduced winning time by 30 seconds

• Stirling 10K – Exceeded PB of 35:25 to 34:40

• Scottish Half Marathon, Edinburgh – Second fastest female; Exceeded PB (held since 2007) of  79:47 to 77:07
